Why Book a Santa Mini Session?

These sessions are a special opportunity to capture your child’s joyful interactions with Santa, from the wide-eyed wonder to those sweet, candid moments that make the holiday season so magical. I’ll focus on capturing those genuine interactions as always, but I’ll also make sure to snap a few posed portraits for you to cherish.

Plus, the new studio offers a relaxed, cozy environment, so your kids won’t feel rushed or overwhelmed. They will be the only ones in the studio during their session so no unnecessary distractions. And don’t be surprised if my registered Emotional Support Dog, Bud, makes his yearly appearance—he loves spreading the holiday cheer as much as Santa does!

Bud has to get his picture with Santa Russ every year.

Tips to Make the Most of Your Santa Mini Session

To help your session go as smoothly as possible, here are a few helpful tips and tricks:

  • Arrive 10-15 Minutes Early: This gives your family a chance to settle in, get comfortable, and avoid feeling rushed. You can even take this time to talk with your child about meeting Santa, so they’re excited and ready when the session starts!
  • Prepare Your Little Ones: Meeting Santa can be a big deal for young children, especially if it’s their first time. Talk to them ahead of time about who Santa is and what they can expect. Let them know Santa is friendly and loves to hear about their Christmas wishes!
  • Start Planning Their Outfit TODAY: Choosing the right outfit is key for those picture-perfect moments. Whether you’re going for classic holiday colors or something a little more unique, planning ahead will ensure that your child looks their best. Think cozy sweaters, festive dresses, or even matching family pajamas—anything that makes them feel comfortable and festive!
  • Bring the Christmas Spirit: These sessions are all about experiencing the magic of Christmas through your child’s eyes. The more fun and relaxed you are, the more your little one will enjoy the experience, too!

Don’t Miss Out!

Santa mini sessions are always in high demand, and these limited spots won’t last long. If you’re ready to capture the joy of the season with memories that will last a lifetime, head over to book your session now. It’s a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season, and you’ll have your images by December, just in time to share them with family and friends!
