WHY DO I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT?
Simply put, I put a contract in place to protect you and me. It defines what you
can expect from me and your signature lets me know you agree with those expectations.

DO YOU TAKE PAYMENT PLANS?
Sure do! I’m happy to work together on a payment plan that works for you.

WHY CAN’T THESE WEDDING PACKAGES BE CHEAPER?!
Have you ever heard of the saying “you get what you pay for”? Well, it’s especially true for wedding photography. You only get one go at this (we sure hope!), so choosing the right photographer is important. When you hire me, you’re paying for more than just a photographer. In the months leading up to weddings, I spend personal time with my couples to learn who they are and what they hope for on their big day, from spending hours coordinating a day-of timeline to gifting all of my couples with a complimentary engagement session, my job is much more than just day-of work.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE FROM MY WEDDING DAY?
You can expect a minimum of 60 images per hour. If you knew how many pictures I actually took on your wedding day, you would be shocked (thousands). Let’s just say, I spend a lot of time reviewing, curating, and preparing your images to create the most authentic story of your day.

HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT TO RECEIVE MY FULL WEDDING GALLERY?
How long will I have to wait to receive my full wedding gallery? Like, tomorrow. Just kidding. My contract
states 8-12 weeks, but I can assure you that I’ll be delivering them as soon as I possibly can! You are welcome to pay a rush fee, if you choose.

WHAT’S A FIRST LOOK? DO I HAVE TO HAVE ONE?
They’re my favorite. First looks give couples a special, intimate moment without the pressure of an entire crowd watching as they see their almost-spouse for the first time. About 75% of my brides choose a first look, but you don’t have too! Please note that if you decide not to do a first look, we’ll be spending substantial time away from the reception to take formal photos with family and the wedding party (see below).

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DO ALL THE FORMAL PHOTOS AFTER THE CEREMONY?
Depending on the number of combinations of family and wedding party formal photos you’d like and how many people try to stop you and talk, it can range anywhere from an hour to two plus hours (which is why I recommend doing a first look and taking formal photos ahead of the ceremony). For couples who
don’t want to do a first look, I recommend planning the ceremony three hours before sunset to make sure we have enough natural light to get those beautiful family and couple portraits outside (if we choose).

WILL YOU EAT ON MY WEDDING DAY?
Yes, please let me eat! It’s in my contract that I need to be counted as a guest on your wedding day to make sure I have a plate of food. Don’t worry, people don’t photograph well when they’re eating, so this is the perfect time for me to get a quick bite in.
